About Kellie

Kellie Brooks Henson was born in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Roswell High School. She received an athletic scholarship to attend Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, then later transferred to the University of Florida, and then to the University of North Florida, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology and a minor in English. She later received her law degree from Western New England school of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. While attending law school, Ms. Henson had the high honor of being selected as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Dominic Squatrito of the United States Federal District Court for the District of Connecticut. After law school, Kellie returned to her home state of Georgia to practice law. She is licensed to practice in all of the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Attorney Henson has been practicing law for 25 years, and she has specialized in representing injured workers in the state of Georgia Workers’ Compensation system for over 20 years.

Kellie has appeared on FOX affiliates, Georgia Public Television and the CW Atlanta network, where she discussed legal topics and used her expertise to answer questions about the Georgia Workers’ Compensation system.

Kellie is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a membership limited to those attorneys who have obtained a settlement or verdict of one million dollars or more. Kellie is also an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group.
